surveyor

Melbourne, VIC, Australia

Due to continued growth in our surveying division and a significant pipeline of secured works, the D-Team is recruiting for an ambitious surveyor wanting to join a fast growing team and take the next step in their career.

The successful applicant will see extensive opportunity to fast track their career and further develop their surveying skills while working with some of the best in the business on industry leading spatial projects, with tier 1 clients and flagship infrastructure.

The role includes:

  • Establishment of primary control networks
  • High precision set out for construction of automated warehousing systems
  • ‘Rolling’ As-Built survey and live QC in support of construction/installation teams
  • Geospatial surveys across a variety of environments including rail, road and remote natural settings
  • GNSS control surveys for aerial LiDAR and photogrammetry 
  • Extensive opportunities to work with laser scanners, drone LiDAR, photogrammetry and other remote sensing technologies
  • Work independently on site; Monday – Friday work days
  • Daily liaison and communication with the client and construction project team

Remote Pilot

Sydney, NSW, Australia

The D-Team is recruiting for an A-grade Remote (Drone) Pilot wanting to push their career to the next level. Diospatial is one of Australia’s leading providers of drone surveys and inspections across the AEC sector, servicing government and tier 1 private industry clients throughout NSW, Victoria and Queensland. An extensive pipeline of secured work and a rapidly expanding client portfolio sees an opportunity to join the team in one of the industry’s most sought-after roles.

The successful applicant will see themselves quickly become a core member of the operations team with broad responsibility across many aspects of the Diospatial drone program including the planning, preparation, and execution of a diverse range of missions.

The role includes:

  • Planning of drone missions and preparation pre-flight JSA’s
  • Preparing automated flight plans for drone LiDAR survey missions in complex and remote terrain
  • Execution of automated drone missions for the purposes of LiDAR surveys and photogrammetry surveys
  • Execution of complex manually piloted drone missions for the purposes of high detail photogrammetry modelling and close visual inspection
  • Opportunity to continue with post-processing of captured data, including photogrammetry and LiDAR workflows

The permanent full time role is based out of our Head Office in Miranda NSW. While the role will require regular in-person attendance to project sites, working from home is available and encouraged for any post-processing or other tasks for which it is effective to do so.
